Meet the Kids

St Marcellin Children's Village was established in 2002 to care for orphaned and homeless children in need. Many of the children have special physical and emotional needs, but in the supportive and loving environment of the village, the happiness of the children shines through. The village currently has seventy seven children, mostly received through the Government Department of Child Welfare. As a registered organisation, the Village is regulated by the Department of Child Welfare, who provide supervisory visits and guidance.

Angie is a happy and beautiful young girl, frequently lost to the giggles. She is currently learning Braille and computer skills at our home school. She is fantastic helping around the house and with the younger children despite her blindness. She loves cleaning and preparing the vegetables for cooking and loves to do beadwork.
